ABOUT

Growing up in Yorkshire meant I developed a deep connection to the outdoors. After discovering my love for nature and design, I went on to attain a degree in a first class degree in Ecology at Manchester University & then onto a Masters in Botany & Mycology at the Royal Botanic Kew Gardens. Throughout my studies I was gardening and my business began to grow organically. Studying Planting Design at Tom Stuart Smith Studio & Professional Garden Design at the NDA further developed my designs. However, over 15 years of experience in gardening both publicly and privately has been the best education in becoming a garden designer.

TEAM

Our team have backgrounds across horticulture, landscaping, science and the arts. They are united by a shared passion for gardens and the outdoors. That enthusiasm is reflected in the care, creativity, and craftsmanship behind every project. We see the build process as an inspiring and collaborative stage of the journey — an opportunity for clients to engage with the transformation of their garden and share in the passion that drives our work.

ETHOS

We create gardens that belong to their setting — shaped by the surrounding landscape, the history of the site, and the way people and wildlife move through it. Our aim is to establish a strong sense of place, where architecture, ecology, and human experience exist in balance.

Our planting designs are rooted in the patterns and resilience of natural plant communities. By working with the ecological principles that govern them, we create richly textured, climate-resilient planting schemes that feel both novel and dynamic.

An emphasis on sustainability runs throughout our work. Existing materials are carefully salvaged, repurposed, and woven back into the design wherever possible, reducing waste and preserving the character of the site. By combining thoughtful planting, sensitive material choices, and enduring craftsmanship, we create gardens that are both environmentally conscious and built to last.
