Our approach balances beauty, function, and ecology as we consider material choices, biodiversity, and ways to minimise environmental impact — creating outdoor spaces that feel both timeless and alive.
INITIAL MEETING
The initial meeting, virtual or in person, focuses on understanding the client’s vision, preferred planting palettes, and garden functionality.
SITE SURVEY
A full site survey is conducted to assess the garden’s setting and location, with every detail considered. An additional meeting is often held to finalise the client brief.
DESIGN
Our design process begins with a conceptual stage, developing the overall vision, atmosphere, and layout of the garden in response to the site and client brief.
This is followed by detailed construction drawings covering hard landscaping, materials, levels, and optional elements such as lighting and irrigation, alongside a comprehensive planting plan tailored to the space. A 3D visualisation is also provided to help bring the character and feel of the garden to life before construction begins.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT + CONSULTATION
Designing and installing a garden is just the beginning – it is the start of a never ending process of evolution and engagement. Our consultation services provide clients with ongoing advice for developing and steering the garden long into the future. Our project managers will help with the oversight, management and communication throughout a build.
BUILD
Once the design is agreed upon, along with the costings document, the build can begin, bringing the vision to life with careful attention to detail, ecological sensitivity and craftsmanship.
Our team will always do the planting and styling, following the planting design lay out whilst using their intuition to create a dynamic scheme.
AFTERCARE
We see gardens as living, evolving spaces, which is why we favour the idea of aftercare over maintenance. Our role is to thoughtfully care for and guide each landscape over time, balancing aesthetic sensitivity with ecological understanding.
Through careful management and seasonal attention, we nurture gardens in a way that encourages biodiversity, resilience, and a lasting sense of peace and enjoyment for everyone who experiences them.
